Saturday night I went out to the bar and had quite a scare with my digital camera. While it was hanging off my wrist it was accidentally dunked into a drink, resulting in… water damage! 
Now for anyone who loves their gadgets, cell phones, digital cameras, etc… water damage is a very scary thing! I always get warranty’s on all of my stuff, including accidental coverage, that covers just about everything. I immediately dried the camera off and took out the battery and memory card. A few hours later I checked back on it, and yes, it was clearly acting up with a weird blinking screen and not turning on all the way.
Thanks to my good buddy Bob I found a quick solution to this problem! Putting my camera into a sealed bag of dry rice will allow the rice to absorb the water, or in my case Captain Morgan and coke, out of the camera! I wanted to make sure the rice did as much as it could, so I left it in the bag for 2 days! Now the camera is back to normal and hopefully will stay that way!! 
However, this may not work on things that have been exposed to water for a longer period of time.

Remember: Next time you have water damange, place whatever it is into a bag of dry rice and let it do all the work!
Last year I did a good vs evil photo shoot with the very talented Brian Kaldorf. Of course I played the “evil” role, haha. This is the picture we got from it!
One of my favorite modeling shots ever!!! Brian told me sometime last week that the picture was on display at the store Get Inked out Ross Park mall. I went to visit my picture on display, and there it was, on sale for $250!!!

This weekend I got to go out and have a few drinks to celebrate my birthday! I don’t go out often, because with work etc.. the bar scene just isn’t for me anymore. However, this past Saturday was definitely enjoyable for multiple reasons! I got to go out with my boyfriend and some amazing friends! I also saw some funny things;
1) A grown boy crying at the club.
2) Andy Warhol look-a-like dancing like it’s nobody’s business!

Everyday we get deer in our yard, always the same ones! We’ve had up to 10 of them out there at once, they eat, sleep and play – they are our BFFs! Here is a video from today that includes 3 of our deer friends!

It’s a desktop application that allows you to make different columns and groups to keep all your tweets organized! It makes twitter so much more fun than it already is! I love it!! If I’m not the last person to get it, and there are some of you out there that haven’t discovered it yet, GET IT!
If you happen to be following me on twitter then you already know today is my 23rd birthday! Not going to lie, I’ve always been a huge fan of birthdays, especially mine! hehe. Here is a little bit about my pretty awesome day!
My first birthday text, almost at midnight, was recieved from the very fabulous Krista who I’ve been best friends with since Kindergarden! Thanks babe! <3
In the morning I was greeted with a warm birthday wish from facebook!
I had a scratchy in my wallet, and I won $4 – wooo!!
The rest of my day included work (which was easy), presents from the family, and dinner with Justin (the boyfriend), my friends Bill, and Josh at my favorite restaurant! Below are some of my gifts I’m pretty excited about!

My mom made me a rice krispy treat cake, because they are my favorite! Yummm!
I got some black Uggs from my parents! They also got me my own set of luggage, in blue (best color ever) which I am pretty excited about! Now I just need to travel!! Thanks mom and dad!!
My sister is getting me another year warranty for my iPhone too, which is neccessary! haha. All in all it was a great birthday, nice and relaxing, just how I like it! This weekend I will be going out with some friends to celebrate as well, I’m looking forward to it!

In honor of FAT Tuesday Bill and I decided to eat lunch somewhere we would surely regret an hour or two later when we felt like we were going to explode from being so full!!!
We choose Moe’s Southwest Grill to get a big, FAT burrito!!
This thing was massive, and thank goodness I only managed like 3 bites before I was full!! If I had eaten the whole thing, I would definitely have to fast the whole 40 days of Lent (yeaaahh right! haha) Hope everyone else eats good today!!

Wooo Hooo!!! My birthday is less than 48 hours away!! Even thought my actual birthday isn’t until the 25th, my boyfriend was nice enough to give me my present early (because I am a brat and couldn’t wait any longer!)
I got a black Flip Mino and I was surprised how small and light weight it is, yet the video quality is still great!
Yesterday was my niece Kendall’s baptism, so I am now a godmother too! I used my new video camera for the first time and I am officially obsessed!! I am already learning how to make some pretty sweet videos and my editing skills are getting better! I used the editing tools that come with the camera, along with Windows Movie Maker. Anyone have suggestions for good editing software?? I plan on buying a program soon!
It may be safe to say that this is my new favorite toy and everyone I know should be afraid… I plan on using it a lot!!!
Next time you’re having a bad day, watch this and smile! Definitely proves that it is possible to get through any difficult situation! I just love, love, LOVE this precious dog!!!
